Polmaily Steading

The Steading is an attractive and very spacious detached family house with two wings embracing the central courtyard. Sympathetically renovated, with slate floors throughout on the ground floor, it provides extensive accommodation of a very high standard for large families or groups. 

The Steading includes a large fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room with Lacanche stove; a 45-foot living room with 8-foot slate-bed snooker table, dining table and wood burning stove; a large utility room with washing and drying facilities; an office with wi-fi internet access and printer for laptop connection; and a gallery (first floor) living room with satellite TV and DVD. This leads to an outside terrace with views of the lovely gardens and surrounding woodland.

There are five bedrooms:  three doubles (two ensuite, one of which has a four poster bed) and two twins (one ensuite). Two of the doubles are on the ground floor, making them convenient for disabled guests.

Centrally heated, mostly by underfloor heating downstairs with radiators upstairs, the house is warm throughout the year. There is ample parking at the front of the property and covered parking for two cars in the large barn behind.

Central heating, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental price. Wood and kindling are also included.

A refundable householder's deposit of £300 is required.

One well-behaved pet is welcome by arrangement.
